Look at these suckers!
This blog is for people in all walks of life...a place to share wisdom, woe's, worries, and worthless babble. We can create our own little cyber trailer park community...even if your living in a mansion in the hills, because a close knit trailer park is a force to be reckoned with...you mess with one you mess with them all.

Toddler friendly Tree Decoratoins
I have two toddlers...and based on past experience with my older children I have learned that toddler's like to take the ornaments off the tree and try to throw them on the floor and break them! I have lost many ornaments to my older son's who are now 9 and 6. My 2 and 1 year old have not gotten that chance...MUUHHAAhahaha.
Anyway...as I stated in previous posts, my Aunt made me Christmas decorations and tree ornaments out of plastic canvas. Because the cord to my phone was assulted by one of my toddlers I am unable to take pictures of the one's I have and how I used them. So I looked around the web to find one's similar to the one's I have...to give you an idea how creative and nice plastic canvas can be.
1.
This is what I am talking about!!

3.
I have some of these for the tree and for the fridge...just put some magnet's on the back of them.

I really like these...when I get the chance, I want to make these someday.
5.

Tree Decoration Themes
One of my favorite things about Christmas is how beautiful people's tree's look. A Christmas tree exudes a warmth that makes my soul smile. I looked around the web and found my picks for the most beautiful or creative Christmas Tree Theme's. Enjoy!
1.
This theme I like to call the "Jack Frost" theme because of the blue and white...reminds me of him.
2.
WOOO...this one goes out to my Trailer Park People!!! And anyone who enjoys a good beer!
3.
All white decorations...very beautiful.
4.
This is sort of what I had in mind for a purple theme but with lights.
5.
Oh yes ya'll...there is a pink tree!
I am going to stop this fabulous list because I am not finding what I am looking for. I am going to have to start doing my tree in a different theme every year and take pictures myself and post them because I am just not finding what I consider beautiful in every color. If I were to decorate a tree in a themed color...the tree would be green or white...the lights would be the color I am doing...and every decoration would be the color I am doing. It would be done creatively and look amazing.
I remember when I was a little girl, I think I was at Kmart or some store...and they had like 5 tree's decorated in different colors. They had tree's decorated in gold, silver, purple, red, and blue. It was amazing and I have never forgotten how beautiful they were. It will be a few years before I am able to do the color schemes because right now I have to use toddler safe decorations that cannot be broken...plastic canvas decorations. I will do a blog about them!

The Month of Merriment
December is finally upon us and magic will be trickling through the air and into the hearts of many. I love this time of year because it seems like people are filled with good energy and it charges the air with magic and wonder. People will be rushing about to get gifts for their loved ones, decorating their homes and yards, and baking wonderful cookies and cakes for Christmas. Of course I will provide ideas I find around the web to decorate cheap...I will be doing a post about different theme's for the Christmas tree, and whatever else I find that will be worth posting. I hope everyone has a happy holiday and feels the magic this month brings. Amen!
